Great healthy menu of fresh tasty fish with really tasty healthy food to surround it. Just like every other place in this really chill food court, you order at the counter and you can take your seat right away. They'll buzz you when your order is ready to be picked up.

Super delicious salads... blackened shrimp salad is my favorite. The fries are pretty amazing too.

On Friday night I ordered whole belly friend clams. When I received my order they were over cooked and very dry! They looked and tasted like Slightly burnt clam strips which was definitely not what I expected. Very disappointed in my meal to say the least. I doubt I will ever go back which is unfortunate.

AWESOME FISH TACOS!!! Fresh, made to order. Gluten free tortillas.....excellent customer service! An entire raw bar of fresh seafood. Next time I am coming with a cooler to bring home some fish.

Be careful. Once you try Hooked, you will quickly realize that nothing else compares. We live 25 minutes away and get there every chance we can. Nothing else in the vicinity compares to the quality and freshness here.

I am addicted to their fried oysters two visits this week and when I left my beer one night and water the other on the table to go get ice cream the table was cleaned off and my drinks were thrown away. Happened two nights in a row.

Hooked hands down has the best oysters in the capital district. They’re selection of delicious cold water oysters is abundant, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help in your section process, but we just try them all. The oysters are kept ice cold, they’re clean and shucked properly to not leave shell shards or lose any of the delicious brine that makes oysters so addicting. They also offer fresh seafood and delicious fish tacos. They recently started serving beer and wine.

Really great fish market with delicious fresh options. Located with lots of other great shops and eateries.

Started going here for the great lobster roll and someone I was with got fries that I tried. I don't usually eat fries but these were the best I ever had, seriously, give them a try.

Ordered the Fish & Chips with a cup of New England chowder. Overall, the meal was pretty bland. The fish had a nice crunch but was VERY greasy. No real flavor. With the meal, I got coleslaw, it too was bland. Lastly, the chowder was ALSO flavorless and more watery than I would like. Its more like the consistency of a Manhattan than a new England.Hooked was out of chips so they gave me extra fish to make up for it. That was nice. Also, the tartar was very good. It has dill in it and its very pronounced. I love that flavor so it works for me, may not be for everybody though.

The lobster roll's roll was pretty good, the flavors delicious, the lobster maybe a tad over done and chewy. Overall, definitely coming back to see if that was a fluke (no pun intended) as the folks were nice and the menu looked great.

I was hungry and wanted fish. I called Uber. We spent 15 min looking for place. They sign wasn't visible from the road. I called them to get directions. They located inside Gallery 7. When I got there it's smelled like fish alright! Ordered chips and fish. The guy was really nice and brought my order to the table, put ketchup and vinegar for me. I ate with gusto. Plate, box rather was pretty large. Hot, steamy fish with fries. Thank you!

The fish bowls are AMAZING!

Small and overpriced portions. They are snack sized. I mean it. Mediocre food taste. I only tried their crunchy tacos, but I'd rather get wood fired pizza there.

One of my favorite lunch and dinner spots. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They always have the best recommendations. I recommend getting your steamers here!

Best local fish market and great cooked meals as well. The owners and their staff are knowledgeable and very friendly.

Went for lunch, had never visited Galleria 7 before. Tried the Fish n Chips and a Lobster Roll. Fish and Chips was one large slab of white fish, fried to very dark brown. Fish was very good, but did not like the batter. Hand cut fries were ok, I don't like coated fries but that's just me. Lobster Roll was good but small for $21.00. Might try again to try something else.

Went there looking for sushi grade fish and the two employees at the fish stand were extremely helpful in describing to us the differences in how different types of fish are prepared to make them sushi grade. Also very friendly. definitely would recommend

These guys are the absolute best when it comes to fresh seafood cooked to order. I've had their tacos, fish fry, poke bowls, whole fish fried to order, you name it, and everything is absolutely delicious. Their fish fry even got the thumbs up from several people from England I work with. Even their sides of grilled asparagus and seaweed salad are on point. You can taste their dedication to their craft with every bite. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed! If you're feeling adventurous, get the whole fried bronzini!!!

UPDATE: Seriously, FIVE STARS! Sept. 2018. Fresh seafood. Cooked perfectly - my current obsession is whole belly clams that you can't get anywhere else! * * * * * *Delicious, fresh lobster roll! We have needed a casual good (!) quality fish restaurant that doesn't fry the heck out of everything for a very long time. Terrific selection. First place to offer whole belly clams that I know of. Seating is comfortable, leisurely and clean.Can't wait to go back.

Every time, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this, every time I visit Hooked I'm consistently impressed. The soups are hand made and personally imagined by co-owner Katie. Today my wife enjoyed the very best Halibut & Scallop Gumbo, and I had the excellent New England Whitefish Chowder. We topped it off with 6 east coast oysters (you can choose from East and West every day). PerfectEvery day Luke and Katie bring the highest quality seafood combined with absolutely top notch customer service.Priceless.

Got fish & chips. That was ok at best. Wife got a clam roll and swordfish chowder. Both were almost inedible. Still hungry and out almost $40. Wont go back.

They almost always have fresh halibut. Very difficult to find around here sometimes.

The quality is decent but the value is terrible. I’ve been there twice. First time I ordered salmon sandwich and the amount of fish was little. Next time I thought I’d try something different hoping to get more food for $14. I ordered fish and chips. Again, ripped off with quantity. Two small pieces of haddock and lots of fries. This makes me mad when cost does not equal what you pay for. There will not be a third time going there. The man owner is grouchy no smile. Bad service. Go to that place off shore pier in east greenbush if you really want value for fish.

Great shrimp cocktail. Outstanding service.

One of my favorite places to eat while visiting Albany. I had the grilled swordfish on the harvest salad. Harvest style is mixed greens, butternut squash, spicy pepitas, candied walnuts, goat cheese, and maple viniagrette. Simply amazing and priced just right.The swordfish was amazing, tender, moist, and fresh. It was so good I ate the entire fillet before touching my salad. If you are in the area and you want fresh seafood, give Hooked a shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Great place to pick up oysters, fish, or prepared food. Even the soup/stews/chowders are good. My favorite is the poke, a Hawaiian specialty. Hooked does a good job with it at a reasonable price. Having eaten this dish in Hawaii a number of times and in several places on the continent, I found Hooked to do their version well. Typically one gets more choices with a variety of marinades, but what they do is quite tasty and fresh. I'll keep going back.
